Automatic boil start

On 4 cooking zones, the automatic boil-

start function provides automatic switch-

over to simmering without loss of energy.

Just turn to “A”, and right back to the

desired heat setting, and the electronic

controls will provide quick heat and

automatic ramp-down. No manual

adjustment required.

Residual heat indicator

Red lights in a central display field

indicate whether the cooking zones are

still too hot to be touched. The remaining

heat can be used to keep food warm.

Control panel pause

This function locks the control panel

(except the main switch) for 20 seconds

in the current setting. This enables easy

cleaning during cooking process, without

modifying the setting.

Touch control with display

On the majority of ceramic hobs – the

dual-circuit or roasting zone can be

added by the touch of a finger on the

touchpad embedded in the ceramic

hob. An indicator lamp in the touchpad

confirms the activated zone. Being sealed

in, the sensor pad is totally impervious to

cleaning with water or wiping cloths.

Extendable cooking zone

Fitting individual cooking zones to the

saucepans to be used – that’s a flexible

and energy-saving approach to cooking,

especially when the cooking zone sizes

correspond to standard

sizes of utensils. Switch-

over via sensor

touchpad or push-

button on the hob.

Switch-selectable oval

roasting zone

Ideal, too, for heating oval pans, such

as casseroles or fish roasters. Optional

selection via sensor pad, push-button.

Timer and memory function

Whether you want to warm up baby’s

milk or cook your favourite pasta

dish, the memory function stores the

individual cooking programmes you

require. This mean you can repeat the

same cooking procedures, using the

same pan, on the same cooking point,

as often as you like. Nothing boils over

and the plate switches off automatically,

thanks to the timer.
